TokyoFits.Store
TokyoFits.Store is a full-stack e-commerce application built with Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, and Framer Motion for smooth animations. It allows users to browse products, add them to a wishlist, place and track orders, and manage their personal account. The platform features both user and admin panels, enabling full control over orders, shipping, and account management.
The Goal
To build a scalable and modern e-commerce solution from scratch that provides a seamless shopping experience with real-time order tracking, wishlist functionality, and secure user authentication, while giving admins the ability to manage and update order statuses easily.
The Challenge
The biggest challenge was designing a robust order management system. Admins needed multiple order status options—Cancelled, Delivered, Shipped, and Paid—while users required a live order tracker to check progress. Another challenge was implementing separate user/admin dashboards with role-based access and ensuring smooth password and address management without breaking the user experience.
The Result
The result is a fully functional modern e-commerce platform with: Wishlist system for users. Order tracker with real-time status updates. Admin panel to manage orders with four distinct status options. User panel to manage account details, update passwords, and track orders. Built entirely from scratch with a responsive UI and fluid animations using Framer Motion.
