Supermerch E-Commerce
I built SuperMerch, a complete production-ready e-commerce platform from scratch, entirely on my own, and successfully deployed it on Vercel. The project was completed in about 2 months and included everything from the frontend storefront to the backend APIs and a full admin panel for product management.
The Goal
My main goal was to create a fully functional, scalable, and professional-level e-commerce solution that could serve as a real-world application. I wanted to challenge myself by not just building the frontend, but also handling the backend logic, database integration, and admin dashboard, making it a true end-to-end system. The idea was to go beyond tutorials and prove to myself that I could deliver a complete production project solo.

The Challenge
The biggest challenge I faced was third-party API integration. On the product details page, I wanted to display dynamic, real-time pricing by fetching data from multiple APIs and merging them into a single, user-friendly view. This wasn’t easy because: Different APIs had inconsistent response formats, so I had to normalize the data. Some APIs had rate limits and slow responses, so I implemented caching and fallback strategies. Keeping the UI responsive and smooth while updating prices dynamically required careful state management and error handling.

The Result
After weeks of consistent effort, I was able to deploy SuperMerch live on Vercel, fully functional with both customer-facing features and an admin backend. It felt incredibly rewarding to see the project running in production, knowing that I started from a blank project and finished everything completely on my own—from the UI design to backend logic to deployment. This project not only strengthened my technical skills (frontend, backend, state management, API integrations, and deployment) but also improved my ability to solve real-world challenges such as handling external APIs, ensuring scalability, and managing time effectively.
